What Is IVF and Why It Matters to Bunnie
IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is a method often used by couples facing fertility challenges. The process begins with daily hormone injections to stimulate multiple egg productions, followed by egg retrieval, lab fertilization with sperm, and embryo monitoring. After selecting the healthiest embryos, they are transferred in hopes of implantation.
But as Bunnie notes, IVF is anything but predictable.
💬 “Especially doing IVF meds… it’s like a slot machine in Vegas. You never know what you’re going to get,” she shared. “Age is a factor. What works for some doesn’t work for others.”
Bunnie and Jelly Roll have now been walking this intense road for over five months, navigating the physical, emotional, and financial tolls that IVF often demands.
A Call That Changed Everything
After months of shots, appointments, and emotional highs and lows, Bunnie recently posted a raw, tearful moment on Instagram. In the video, she receives a phone call — and can’t hold back the tears.
The overlay text in the video read:
🕊️ “When you just got the call you’ve been waiting on for 5 months since this IVF journey started. All the tears, the hopelessness & the struggle… God finally said, ‘Here.’”
In the caption, she wrote simply:
“Praise Jesus.”
However, she quickly clarified the nature of the update:
“This is not a pregnancy announcement — we won’t announce that. This is just a huge, huge win for us.”
While the couple hasn’t revealed exactly what the breakthrough was, fans speculate that it marks a successful stage in their IVF process — a possible embryo fertilization or a viable transfer. Regardless, it’s a hopeful step forward in their dream of having biological children together.
